The Maekok River Village Resort is built on the banks of the Maekok River, in the Thai-Burma border village of Ban Thaton. This reosrt is located 173 Kms north of Chiang Mai, and 90 Kms from Chiang Rai. |

The Maekok River Village Resort offers two types of accommodations including family villas and pool side suite. The rooms are spacious and are well furnished to give guests an enjoybale and comfortable stay.
The family villas is delightful Thai style wooden house raised on short stilts, with a own small garden encircled by a low picket style fence. This villa is 60 sqm consisting of a main living and a bedroom fitted with a double bed or 2 single beds in an open plan format. The pool side suite is tastefully decorated and is spreading in 3 blocks surrounding three sides a 12m x 6m x 1.5m deep main swimming pool and a 4m x 4m x 50 cm deep children’s pool. This room type is 40 sqm plus a 12 sqm verandah facing onto the pool and is furnished with twin or double beds, and a large stone floored bathroom with hot water shower.
